#NewarkPrimaryAgainstRacism Campaign Proudly Displayed on The Big Screen Port Glasgow.

A&M Advertising is delighted to support Newark Primary School in their most recent campaign for #NewarkPrimaryAgainstRacism.

The Big Screen Port Glasgow is proudly displaying artwork from Newark Primary pupils alongside an animated feature being played at The Waterfront Cinema in Greenock as part of their most recent anti-racism campaign.

The campaign involves a different piece of artwork displayed on the Port Glasgow digital screen each week for three weeks while the animated feature plays at the local cinema.

The feature was animated by Hannah Moitt using drawings and voiceovers from the pupils and will be shared with every local authority in Scotland, giving the campaign the opportunity to reach a massive number of people.

Pupils from primaries one to seven formed the anti-racism group leading the campaign supported by award-winning teacher Katie D’Souza.

Mrs D’Souza was recognised for her efforts last year by being named the joint winner of 2022’s General Teaching Council for Scotland Saroj Lal Award which celebrates teachers challenging discrimination and promoting equality and diversity.

Mrs D’Souza posts regular updates about the #NewarkPrimaryAgainstRacism group on Twitter.
